This course aime at helping students master the steps to follow to do research. In this semester, they are going to deal with the following points:
1-What is research? The purpose of Research, Relationship between methodology and method.
2-From topics to questions: from interest to topic, from a broad to a focused one, from a focused topic to questions, from questions to problems, from problems to hypotheses and from hypotheses to sources, the research gap.
3-Reviewing Literature: arguing, claiming, quoting, reviewing style, referencing, avoiding plagiarism, paraphrading and summarising
